1. General information
Royal Nicotine AB, company registration number 559544-0057 (”RoyalNicotine”), operates the webshop www.royalnicotine.com (the ”Webshop”). Through the Webshop you can purchase RoyalNicotine products.
These general terms and conditions (the ”Terms”) apply to orders placed by a customer (the ”Customer”) in the Webshop. By making a purchase, the Customer accepts the Terms and also confirms that they have read RoyalNicotine’s privacy policy.
By accepting the Terms, the Customer confirms that they are at least 18 years old, have legal capacity and are entitled to enter into agreements. Persons under 18 may not make purchases in the Webshop.
Orders placed in another person’s name or other suspicious orders linked to financial harm or breaches of law may be reported to the police. Every order may be reviewed manually because RoyalNicotine products are age-restricted.
RoyalNicotine reserves the right to reject or change an order if there is reason to suspect that the order is not intended for private use, or if abuse or other irregularities are detected.
RoyalNicotine strives to ensure that the information in the Webshop is correct, but reserves the right for products to sell out, for price changes, for image or typographical errors, and for inaccurate stock balances.
All content in the Webshop belongs to RoyalNicotine or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property rights. Content may not be copied or used without RoyalNicotine’s written permission.
2. Orders and agreement
A purchase requires the Customer to accept the Terms. Once the Customer has placed an order, a preliminary order confirmation is sent by email.
A binding agreement is only entered into once RoyalNicotine has confirmed the order after completing age and order checks.
3. Customer details and customer account
To make a purchase, the Customer must provide correct and complete personal details. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the details are correct and up to date.
A customer account is created automatically when the first purchase is made. The Customer is responsible for keeping their login details secure and must contact RoyalNicotine without delay if unauthorised use is suspected.
RoyalNicotine reserves the right to close a customer account if misuse or breach of the Terms is suspected.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are stated in GBP and include VAT unless otherwise stated. Shipping costs and any applicable fees are added to the order and shown at checkout.
Payments are handled through RoyalNicotine’s payment partner Klarna Bank AB (”Klarna”). The Customer accepts Klarna’s terms in connection with the purchase. Klarna handles identification, credit assessment and the available payment options.
RoyalNicotine reserves the right not to offer every payment method in all situations and to change the selected payment method if it does not work or is not approved.
5. Age verification
RoyalNicotine products are intended only for adult consumers.
Age and identity verification take place during payment through Klarna and on delivery by checking valid identification, regardless of the delivery method.
6. Offers and campaigns
RoyalNicotine may from time to time offer campaigns and promotions. Separate terms may apply to these, such as a limited validity period or a limited number of products.
RoyalNicotine reserves the right to end or change campaigns at any time and to reject orders where abuse or irregularities are suspected.
7. Delivery and shipping
Orders are delivered to the address provided by the Customer when placing the order. The normal delivery time is 1-3 working days from a confirmed order depending on the chosen delivery method.
RoyalNicotine reserves the right to split deliveries without additional charge if some products have longer delivery times.
Uncollected parcels may be charged for return shipping and handling.
Risk in the product passes to the Customer on receipt. The Customer should inspect the delivery immediately on receipt.
8. Right of withdrawal
The Customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the product.
The withdrawal must be notified to RoyalNicotine by email or phone before returning the product. The product must be returned within 14 days from the withdrawal notice.
RoyalNicotine provides returns by QR code. When this return method is used, RoyalNicotine covers the return shipping cost.
The refund is made using the same payment method that was used for the purchase, normally within 14 days after the return has been received or proof of the return has been provided.
9. Complaints
If a product is faulty or missing, the Customer must contact RoyalNicotine customer service within a reasonable time after discovering the issue. A complaint made within two months is always regarded as having been made in time.
The complaint must include the order number, a description of the issue and a photo of the product.
RoyalNicotine is responsible for original defects in accordance with applicable consumer law.
10. Links in the Webshop
RoyalNicotine is not responsible for external websites that the Webshop links to, or for the processing of personal data on such websites.
11. Force majeure
RoyalNicotine is not liable for delays or failure to fulfil obligations where the reason is outside RoyalNicotine’s control, such as war, decisions by authorities, technical disruptions or industrial action.
12. Changes to the Terms
RoyalNicotine reserves the right to change these Terms. Changes come into force when they are published in the Webshop or, at the latest, 10 days after the Customer has been informed of them.
13. Validity of the Terms
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
14. Assignment
RoyalNicotine is entitled to assign its rights and obligations under these Terms without the Customer’s consent.
15. Disputes
Any disputes should primarily be resolved directly with RoyalNicotine. If no solution can be reached, the Customer may contact the relevant consumer advice or dispute resolution body for their market.
